How the 7-day trend works (and missing days)
Your body weight swings day to day from water, food and salt. The 7-day trend line
averages out that noise so you can see the real direction.
It’s a true 7-calendar-day average, not the average of your last 7 entries. If you
skip days, those gaps are bridged by drawing a straight line between your nearest
real weigh-ins, so the window always covers a real 7 days and the trend never lies about
how fast you’re moving. The first week uses a growing window so the line starts right away.
“Trend / week” is how much that smoothed line has moved over the last 7 days — the
number that actually tells you if you’re losing.
